STREET SURVIVAL DVD INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO 1988

1988 Vintage instructional skateboarding video. (1hr).  It includes a prologue of a clip from one of the most popular and innovative skateboarders today, Andy Anderson, talking about how this video (and the era from which it came) was very influential on him as a young skater.  It also includes a bonus track of Street Survival skater Dave Campbell doing “60 tricks at 60 years old.”

“Yes, the Street Survival instructional skateboarding video is in the Smithsonian Institution. The video was donated to the National Museum of American History in 2013 by George Leichtweis and Michael Hays, the producers of the video. The video is currently not on view, but it is available for research by appointment.
